Meet Dr. Nathan Loughridge
Dr. Nathan Loughridge was born and raised in Celina, Ohio. He attended Wright State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then pursued a degree in dentistry at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and first in his class. Upon graduation, he was awarded the American Academy of Periodontology Dental Student Award for Achievement in Periodontology. He was also a Hatton Award National Finalist for his research on the human oral microbiome.
After earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS), Dr. Loughridge completed a Residency in Periodontology and earned a Master’s of Science Degree in Periodontology from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Loughridge was a Prichard Award Regional Finalist for his research concerning proteomics within the human periodontium.
Dr. Loughridge is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, and Ohio Dental Association. He continues to further his education in part through the Western Ohio Seattle Study Club (a Seattle Study Club Affiliate) as he strives to deliver quality outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Loughridge is happily married to his wife, Theresa, and is the father of two sons. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, sports, fitness, and traveling.
